I'm Doreen Kelly, and I live on a small farm in Western New York with my husband Ed, our two Collie dogs, three sheep, and one Angora bunny. I'm a self taught fine art and fiber artisan, hand spinner, photographer, and graphic designer. The historic craft of hand-spinning dog hair provides the pet owner with a special keepsake that will memorialize them forever. I love to draw and paint, and also turn my photographs into beautiful paintings and graphics. My original designs can be seen on my cards and stationary page. I give spinning demonstrations to schools and groups, and we're also members of the East Aurora Driving Society which is an organization that drives horses and carriages. This group not only provides instruction in the "art and sport of pleasure driving", but we also promote interest in the collection and restoration of horse-drawn vehicles. For more information click on the EADS link on my Links page.
Our sheep are Gabrielle (Gabby), Lucinda (Lucy), and Jazzlyn (Jazzy). Gabby is an Icelandic ewe, Lucy and Jazzy are both Shetland ewes. |
I love looking for unique animal artwork and gifts. You can find these one of a kind items for sale on my Collie Shoppe page. I hope you'll enjoy my web site, and viewing my very special interests. |
